When research partners or groups are stuck, they hire me to lead them through identifying sticking points and creating a concrete plan for moving forward.

“Where do we go from here?!” “We are so frustrated!” I lead groups forward by acknowledging what emotions they bring with them. Being stuck is frustrating and ignoring emotions only makes research groups more stuck. I guide group members through processing their emotions so that they are not being blocked by them.
